Well, after the election. Utterly lost. Well. But such is the reality of democracy. Not always, our candidate wins. Besides, in the year were mainly votes against Bush and his policies. People asked about their reasons for voting for Obama said that for them, Obama signals a change in policy, where McCain is a continuation of what was in recent years. Continues the Bush policy.
It is ironic that Obama is likely to actually change anything, but not as much as they imagine it his constituency. Obama has demonstrated his political career so far he is very liberal, very left-wing in their views. Even more than Clinton and he was much more than it is able to digest the average American citizen. Even the one who voted for Obama. And Obama himself, being very intelligent and shrewd politician, led the campaign in a very sober tone. So either his views have changed radically in the last year or was the standard political game. But I do not believe in such a miraculous change of views candidates for office.
I am in total but I would like to write about something else. Politics I am not very interested. This, if anything will change here is not important. It will not change, moreover, that much. In addition, for four years will be new elections. And for several years nobody will remember what he did 44th U.S. President. I'm interested in just the moral aspects of this choice. I would like to write about it in a nutshell.

That racism is a thing of the past, though it was painful reality only a few decades ago. Of course, this does not mean that there is no single personal racist views. This can happen anywhere. But the Americans as a nation certainly they are not already. In this respect, yesterday's elections were historic and groundbreaking. And with that aspect of yesterday's selection is happy, and this fills me with pride.

There is one aspect of what happened yesterday. The issue of judicial nominations to the U.S. Supreme Court. These are appointments for life. Makes the president and approved by the Senate. Now in court, there are four conservative judges (incidentally they are all Catholics) and the fifth Catholic judge them is older, the more inclined toward admitting that the U.S. Constitution has no "right to abortion. " So there was a good chance that the federal law mandating the legalization of abortion in all states may soon change. Does not mean that abortion would suddenly illegal, but that would mean that now the individual states themselves to regulate these matters. Probably also for many people it is simply irrelevant. Economy, economy, wages, taxes, expenses, balance - these are the things that determine our choices. Only what they really matter? Are the Last Judgement, Jesus will ask us whether we voted for a candidate who promised a better health insurance and lower taxes?
Jesus born in a country that was under occupation. In a country where Rome impose their beliefs, plundered Jewish taxes, and dedicate the money to finance the worship of idols. And what? And nothing. You will not find any word on the political, economic and throughout the New Testament. And when asked directly about taxes, Jesus said to give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. Our kingdom is not of this world. Our king does not rule in Washington, either in Brussels or in Warsaw. He should be master of our heart, our soul, not our political system. And if we truly recognize Him as our Lord, it głosowalibyśmy as we should.
