This quote is well known to me, but you must remember two things: First is that Scripture is inspired and useful not means that ONLY Scripture is so. Water is beneficial to our health and it is even necessary to life, but we only drank water, zmarlibyśmy within a few weeks.

So if it said It states that only the Scriptures are necessary and sufficient, it would exclude the entire New Testament.

Two interesting things carry with them as soon as I read this passage of the Letter to Timothy. The first of these, that St. Paul recommends to us all pray for all men. Our faith, our church, our community is not just "me and Jesus", but it is a communion of saints. It is the "ecclesia," assembly, the kingdom. Really? And what does it infer? Do not tell me something that I never wrote, nor even thought of. Do not come to each verse, so that as one is true, it means that another must be rejected.
